• Rotary Club Computer Challenge 2012

  Three of our children were presented with certificates and prizes of dictionaries and book tokens by the Rotary Club of Misbourne Matins for their exceptional use of ICT in creating invitations to The Queen to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.

   

  Very well done to Emma (Year 5 runner up), John (Year 4 runner up) and Harry (Year 4 winner).

   

  

• Chess Club

  Congratulations to the eight players who, due to their excellent performance in the school tournament, qualified to compete at the Buckinghamshire ‘Megafinal’ stage of the UK Chess Challenge competition: Jonnie  (Year 3 winner), Matthew  (Year 4 winner), Alexandra  (Qualifier), Angus and Jonah  (Year 5 joint winners), Toby  and Dylan  (Qualifiers) and Will  (Year 6 winner and overall school tournament winner).

   

  Following the Buckinghamshire Megafinal, Jonah and Will have qualified for the Southern Gigafinal and Will is now the Under 11 Chess Champion for Buckinghamshire!
