Congratulations to everyone involved in the Year 4 nativity held this week in St Peter’s Church.  All performances were exceptional and it was a pleasure to see the children perform so well.  Well done to all the children and many thanks to our ‘Arts Team’ and all the staff involved in organising such a wonderful occasion.  The retiring collection has enabled us to send a donation to The Children’s Society and St Peter’s Church.

  • Royal Albert Hall

Fri 15 Dec 2017 Mrs White

On Wednesday 15th November 30 eager and excited year 6 children headed off to The Royal Albert Hall.  The ‘Music For Youth’ organization presented a very varied programme from schools around the country including Samba bands and our own county Chiltern Music Academy Orchestra performed for the grande finale. It was a great inspiration for our young musicians and good for the children to see ex pupils that they have recently worked with at ‘The Big Noise’.  All the children were especially delighted to get a balloon at the end from the deluge that were dropped from the ceiling.

The Year 6 Young Entrepreneurs created a buzz around the school on Wednesday as they hosted their first sale of the year. A wonderful range of festive items as well as potential gift ideas were created by the children and sold with enthusiasm. They have all worked so hard and we are both impressed and proud of their creativity and commitment. Well done young entrepreneurs!

  • The Show Must Go on - Year 6 Production

Fri 08 Dec 2017 Mrs Alburg
Wow what a week of performances! Our Year 6 children were outstanding and our final performance just last night was the perfect ending to a fantastic experience shared by all
those involved. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of our Y6 production this year, especially to the children who were magnificent! I hope that the children will always remember this production and their time on the stage and that this will be a lasting CSPA memory for them all! Thank you so much to all the members of staff, parents and friends of the school for their hard work, support, encouragement and wonderful feedback. It has been a pleasure to be part of it all!
  • Table Tennis - COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Fri 08 Dec 2017 Mr Underwood
    CSPA Victorious Once Again!
After weeks of early mornings and late evenings, the squad players of 2017 took to the stage for their first competition of the year; the U 11 County Championships held at Cippenham Table Tennis centre. With Farnham Common as the only opposition for the day, the boys and girls were in high spirits as we arrived at the centre. A strong warm up settled most of the nerves and before long, the team events were ready to
start. Beginning with strong performances from Rachel Iles and Alice Godfrey, saw CSPA take a dominant lead winning the first two games comfortably. In quick succession, Poppy Godfrey and Clarissa Nunn backed up the early victories with
impressive wins themselves. This trend followed suit throughout the team event with exceptional performances from all, resulting in an incredible 8-0 victory to CSPA!
Whilst the girls were smashing their way to victory, the boys again took an early lead with a stand out performance from Danny Topliss, showing no shortage of CSPA spirit! Similarly, outstanding performances from Nick Carter and George Driscoll resulted in a steady lead against Farnham Common. Proving to be tough opposition, the ‘match of the day’ quickly attracted spectators around the court as Dexter Dalston
went 2-0 down in games in a set of 5. However, a herculean effort from Dexter, fuelled by the cacophony of applause, saw a 3-2 win for CSPA - a truly remarkable show of courage and determination! All said and done, CSPA boys fought for an
    impressive 7-1 victory.
With the team events over and lunch eagerly consumed, the individual competition was about to begin. Again with Farnham Common as the only opposition for CSPA, the girls and boys were keen to start. Following a similar course to the victories in the morning, semi finals in both the boys and girls competitions were primarily CSPA dominated! The girls individual final was a tightly contested match between Rachel
Iles and Alice Godfrey. After some incredible points and eye- catching shots, Rachel clinched victory, becoming the Bucks County Girl's Individual Champion. The boys final, again between CSPA players Dexter and Danny, proved to display unbelievable talent as, once more, spectators were gathering - a compliment in itself! With unbreakable tension and outstanding play, Dexter became victorious to become Bucks
County Boy’s Individual Champion. After an emotion-filled, action-packed day, all players involved showed the best of
their abilities and a class above the rest; impressive to all watching and a tribute to the unparalleled excellence of CSPA students. Both teams progress to Walsall for the Zone Finals in January; the hard work continues!
