  • Year 6 Easter Gardens

    Mon 29 Mar 2021

Year 6 have been working hard in their RE lessons to learn about the meaning and symbolism of Easter. Today, the whole of Year 6 created their own individual Easter gardens! The children learned that an Easter garden is a symbol of Jesus rising from his tomb. Each garden portrayed the scene that Mary Magdalene saw, a tomb with a stone to be rolled away on Easter Sunday. The gardens were judged by Mrs Alburg, who awarded a winner in each class. Congratulations to the following children:

    Emily S: Class 10

    Jessica T: Class 11

    Luke D: Class 12
