• Project India - Phase 3: Skype Link on 30th November, 2012

  I am delighted to report that our fund-raising mini enterprises have once again been wonderfully supported by children and families.

   

  This morning our funds reached £1,850! Just £150 short of our target of £2,000 - absolutely fantastic! Further, we were able to skype link with our friends in India this morning and share with them the good news of our money raising activities.

   

  As soon as we reach our target, we will be sending our funds to The Holy Cross School, Nandyal (via CfBT) in order for the school to purchase new classroom chairs and desks for their children.

  

• Project India - Phase 3

  Year 6 girls raise money for 'Project India' to buy tables and chairs for classrooms by selling cakes and toys on Saturday (10th November) morning in Chalfont St Peter.

   

  Mini enterprises continue as children come up organise cake and table top sales to raise funds for the Holy Cross School in Nandyal, India. We are making excellent progress towards our target of £2000 to provide tables and chairs for the classrooms.

   

  Thank you to children and parents for your wonderful enthusiasm and support.

  

• ICT Updates

  Children are thoroughly enjoying the chance to use the new minibooks in lessons across the curriculum. Here, year 6 children draft newspaper articles about the Gunpowder Plot 1605.

   

  During the Half Term break we purchased 15 new Nettop PC's for the ICT Room replacing some of the older computers and also made some considerable improvements to the general ICT infrastructure increasing the speed of the overall network.

  

• French Theatre

  The Onatti Theatre Company performed their french comedy play 'Ecris-Moi' to years 3, 4, 5 and 6. It was a fun, educational experience enjoyed by both children and staff!

  

• Children In Need 2012

  Pudsey comes to CSPA!

  
  Children were delighted to welcome our surprise visitor to assembly this morning!
  
  

   

  Pudsey reminded us that the BBC Children in Need appeal is coming up and ‘spotty’ merchandise will be available to purchase from school during break-times next week.
