  • Cake and Drinks Charity Event for Macmillan Cancer Suppport October 2015

    Sat 17 Oct 2015

On Saturday the 17th October, Anna Bird and her brother, Chris, organised a cake and drinks sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  With help from Emma, Sienna and several of Chris’s former CSP-A friends, we baked some beautiful cakes, brownies, flapjacks and biscuits.   The charity event was held on the grass verge outside of our house.  Fortunately, the weather was good for the whole day, and many people stopped to buy cakes and drinks, and importantly, to give generously in support of the event.  At the end of the day, we were delighted and proud to have raised the grand sum of £315, which we felt was a tremendous achievement.  Next year, we plan to organise a bigger and even more ambitious event.  Watch this space!

  • Y3 Visit to St Peter's Church October 2015

    Tue 13 Oct 2015
On Tuesday13th October the Year 3 children were invited to look round the church by Luke Maxted, St Peter's Church's children and families’ worker. They had questions to investigate both inside the church and in the grounds and had great fun exploring whilst learning about the history of the church. We all found out some fascinating facts - who would have thought that the incense container was made from part of an old toilet?! Thank you to Luke for arranging the visit for us.
  • Horse Jumping and Dressage October 2015

    Mon 12 Oct 2015

Olivia Parry competed in the National Schools Equestrian Association Show Jumping Competition at the weekend. There were 45 competitors in her jumping round and Olivia jumped clear, not knocking over any poles and came 5th. This is excellent news as the top 6 competitors progress to the Regional Finals on the 22nd November 2015.

Olivia received two rosettes from the sponsors the Pony Club, presented today in assembly. It is wonderful to celebrate a brand new sport for the school! Well done Olivia!
