Year 4 trip to Osmington Bay
03.05.23 - Off we go!
Two coaches of very excited Year 4 children and staff left CSP Academy at 8:15am to begin their residential trip. After a quick rest break at Winchester services, the coaches boarded the chainlink ferry at Sandbanks and travelled a short distance to Knoll Beach.
The skies were blue and the sun was shining as the children played on the beach and ate their lunch. Once back onboard the coaches, a short drive was made to Osmington Bay home for the next few days!
03.05.23 - We've arrived!
After arriving at Osmington Bay, the children had a tour of the site to see where the activities are, where meals are served and where the emergency assembly points are, just in case! They had a little bit of time settling into their rooms before beginning an afternoon programme of activities such as Giants Swing, archery and den building. Tea was served about 6:00pm - everyone was very hungry after such a busy day! The evening's entertainment was a campfire where the children enjoyed a good sing-song as well as hot chocolate and biscuits!
04.05.23 - Good morning!
Everyone slept well last night and area ready for our first full day of activities! We are all in good spirits and had a filling breakfast at 7:30am to give us lots of energy for the morning ahead. The skies are blue in Osmington Bay but it is a little bit chilly!
04.05.23 - Day 1: lunchtime!
We have had a lovely morning of a variety of activities such as a beach walk, problem solving, survivor, aeroball and zipwire. We are now back for a quick rest in our rooms before heading to lunch. After lunch the children will be making badges before starting the afternoon activities. Everyone is happy and enjoying themselves!
04.05.23 Ready to party!
Year 4 enjoyed a lovely afternoon, full of activities! There was a shower of rain but that did not spoil the fun! They are all looking forward to the disco tonight!
05.04.23: Up and ready for our last day!
Year 4 enjoyed a filling breakfast this morning at 8:00am after sleeping really well following a busy day! After breakfast, the children returned to their rooms and packed their bags before heading to their first activity at 9:00am. The children will have lunch at 12:30pm before boarding the coaches at 2:00pm to begin the journey home!
