Danke schön to Mrs Emma Whittle and the Yr 10 boys from Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, who treated the Year 6 children to a morning of fun-filled games and activities as an introduction to German. It was a lovely, inspirational MFL ending to their four-year CSPA journey and we hope that as a result of this morning’s Taster German Session, some of our children might feel inspired to consider German as an option in their secondary schools. The Goethe Institute kindly donated an array of prizes for pupils to enjoy.

Achieving through games and fun activities
We are very grateful to Mrs Whittle for taking time out of her very busy schedule to prepare the boys, and to the boys themselves from DCGS for being such wonderful MFL ambassadors!
The Young Entrepreneurs have had a hugely successful year and have gained a thorough understanding of how a business works and how a profit is made. They have proved they have the ability to work as part of a team and have shown a real willingness to take responsibility and show initiative. As a reward for all their hard work and commitment, the 35 Young Entrepreneurs visited the Breadhouse and Unique Like You. They were able to choose a piece of pottery to paint as well as having a brownie and milkshake treat. We look forward to announcing our Young Entrepreneurs of The Year 2019 at our end of year presentation assembly.
