  I am delighted to inform you that we have taken delivery of a class set of ‘laptops’ for use in classrooms, courtesy of the fantastic fundraising by our PTA last year.  These will be invaluable for developing the teaching and learning of ICT but also enhancing the use of ICT right across the curriculum.  They are already in demand and children will be starting to use them this afternoon!

   

  I am sure you will have noticed already our new ‘picnic’ benches in the top playground.  Made of recycled plastic and chosen by our Impact Reporters, they certainly brighten up the playground at break times and are set to last for years ahead.

   

  Another recent purchase is a brand new numeracy scheme, right across the school.  Working alongside the variety of resources which teachers use to deliver the numeracy curriculum, we feel that the new books will further develop children’s enjoyment of learning in lessons.

   

  These purchases are all thanks to the amazing work of our PTA last year.  Thank you once again for all your hard work and time devoted to our school.   Long may it continue this year ahead!
