Chess Club
Congratulations to the eight players who, due to their excellent performance in the school tournament, qualified to compete at the Buckinghamshire ‘Megafinal’ stage of the UK Chess Challenge competition: Jonnie (Year 3 winner), Matthew (Year 4 winner), Alexandra (Qualifier), Angus and Jonah (Year 5 joint winners), Toby and Dylan (Qualifiers) and Will (Year 6 winner and overall school tournament winner).
Following the Buckinghamshire Megafinal, Jonah and Will have qualified for the Southern Gigafinal and Will is now the Under 11 Chess Champion for Buckinghamshire!
