What a fantastic week of athletics we’ve had!  Firstly, some Year 5 and 6 children represented the school at the District Sports field events, followed by the long-awaited track events.  The children had worked incredibly hard in the build-up to these competitions and they didn’t disappoint.  They all competed at this high level with commitment, enthusiasm and maturity. We had a quite a number of individual and team successes including winning 5 out of the 8 relay trophies with placings in the other three. Soon after, we heard that we were the overall winners.  Well done to all those children involved and a special thank you to the parents and members of staff for their support.  We look forward to hosting our own Inter-4 schools athletics match on Tuesday 12th July starting at 4pm at Mill meadow.
