Table Tennis - COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Once again, the U11 CSPA table teams took to the stage at the Bucks County Championships at John Hampden Grammar School. With Farnham Common as our only opposition, we were eager to play.

With our boys team consisting of Edward M, Matthew L, Shyan V, Rhys M and Jack F, our hopes were high after the countless training sessions held throughout the many weeks leading up to the competition. After a tight battle with the boys from Farnham Common, the CSPA team became victorious with a 5-3 win.

With 3 of our four girls having played in the national tournament last year, we were quietly confident that the team (Alice G, Poppy G, Clarissa N and Bella S) would bring home a comfortable win. As a result of some fantastic table tennis by the CSPA girls, an 8-0 victory seemed appropriate. An impressive start for the girls.

The second competition of the day saw our boys and girls play in an individual tournament. With CSPA players filling all the spaces in the semi-finals and finals, our dominance was clear. After closely fought battles, Edward M emerged supreme in the boys final and Alice G claimed fame through a tough game with her twin sister Poppy.

A spectacular day for all to see, bringing home all the medals too. An exciting start to this years competitions!
