Skype Link-up with France 11th October 2016
Today we had our first Skype link of the new academic year with our partner school in France. Our year 6 children were really confident and well-prepared to stand up in front of the webcam to speak both in English and French to the children in Y6 at St Joseph's School in Bayeux, France.
Children of both schools exchanged information and asked quesitons of each other, practising their language skills developed over the years in school. We look forward to a monthly link-up in addition to writing letters and cards as the year progresses. Well done Mrs Downie - a great innovative use of our technology in school these days!
