Red Priest Workshops 5th February 2016
A group of twelve children were invited to a special workshop at the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe to take part in a concert given by a renown early music ensemble called "The Red Priest". The children represented our school beautifully, playing on their violins, cello and recorders in a workshop. The concert finished with a combined performance of " The Harmonious Blacksmith" by G.F.Handel. The lead recorder player was awe-inspiring and the children had a fantastic time. As one parent said afterwards , "The children were buzzing with excitement and feeling completely inspired by the whole experience". Well done to all the children who took part and contributed so confidently to the wonderful concert at the end! Thank you to Mrs White for her unfailing enthusiasm and expertise in the music field.
