Easter Service in Church 23rd March 2016
Today we went to church for our Easter assembly which this year, was led by some of our Year 5 children. Together we explored the "sounds of Holy Week" as members of 'The Wings' provided an orchestra of sounds which helped to retell the story of Jesus' time in the lead up to Good Friday, accompanied by our readers who described the events.
All children were invited to receive a palm cross from Reverend Charles Overton and Reverend Jim King whilst Victoria sang a beautiful solo, accompanied by Mrs White on the piano. Oour service concluded with a resounding hymn, "My Jesus, My Saviour" followed by a blessing.
