Archie Hill visits 10 Downing Street

Archie Hill, one of our Year 4 children wrote a letter recently to David Cameron, the Prime Minister. Archie has Duchenne, a form of muscular dystrophy and requires the release of a new drug which will enable him to walk and run for longer.

The drug, available in other countries was due to be released in the Uk but was withdrawn and Archie, together with his supportive family and other members of the charity went up to Downing Street on Wednesday 14th January to deliver a petition of nearly 23,000 names.

Archie was lucky enough to see the Prime Minister who drove past in his car, but then got out and walked all the way back to speak to Archie and his family.
