In connection to our whole school value of ‘charity’ the whole school has decided to raise awareness of four different charities, one for each year group. 

The idea was that we try and do something to raise awareness of these charities as well as trying to do something for somebody else in the lead up to this festive and giving time of year. 

The charities that we have supported are:
Year 6 -‘World Wildlife Fund.’
Year 5 - ‘Mary’s Meals’. This organisation ensures that the children of Africa have a meal within an educational setting.
Year 4 - UNICEF
Year 3- The Children’s Society

The children and staff have raised the money in some truly inventive ways: sponsored silences, bike rides, cake and craft stalls, bingo, hair design competitions, pedicures, cinema afternoons, animal dress up days, a real range of charitable giving both in and out of school.
As always the children of Chalfont St Peter C of E Academy have been truly amazing in their efforts and we are in awe of their passion and desire to raise money for others.

All these charities will benefit enormously from our support as well as raising the children’s awareness of the global issues that surround us, especially in the lead up to Christmas.

We would also like to thank you for all your support, time and patience in helping and sponsoring your children, it is very much appreciated. They would not be able to do these things without your care and support.
