    Update 10pm

It's been another full day today and the children can now tick off every one of their activities. It's also been a rather rainy day! The children haven't been affected though, they have continued with the same enthusiasm and resilience. This evening, as well as our final dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, we hosted a talent show and the class of 2025 did not disappoint. It was the perfect ending to an amazing trip. I hope you have enjoyed the gallery of photos - the latest ones are about to be added.

Tomorrow we aim to leave The Summit Centre at 10am with the aim of returning back to Chalfont St Peter for 2-2:30pm (traffic dependent). I will keep you posted! Please regularly check back to this page.

    Update 10:15pm

Welcome to an update for Day three of the trip! It was the turn of groups 4 and 5 to go on the waterfall adventure today and they certainly had the weather for it! The remaining groups enjoyed the centre-based activities - again in the sunshine! The children have continued to get involved in every challenge and make the most of every moment. Well done Year 6. Tomorrow is our last day of activities and we can't wait!

    Update 6:15pm

Our first full day at the Summit Centre has been brilliant! I hadn't fully realised how much of a reputation the school carries with the centre, but speaking to the instructors today, they were all so pleased to have CSPA children and staff back! Our Year 6 children haven't disappointed so far. They have been enthusiastic, resilient and encouraging - it's been a great start. Today, was our first taste of all of the activities and while three groups were off-site at the waterfall adventure, the others were based at the centre doing archery, bushcraft, canoeing, climbing to name just a few! During the evening, I will be updating the gallery. I hope you enjoy!

    9th June 2025

    Update: 10:30pm

We had a great first evening! We enjoyed a meal of burger and chips with salad followed by some delicious ice-cream and we went for a beautiful evening walk to take in the spectacular scenery. The children are now settled in their rooms ready for a good night's sleep. The gallery is now open with the first of our group photos - more tomorrow as the activities get underway! To see the photographs, please click on 'Wales 2025' under 'in this section'.

    Update 4:15pm

We have arrived safely at The Summit Centre! The journey was excellent and the children have been brilliant so far. We have been welcomed back by the Rock UK staff who have been delighted to see us again. The children are just having some tours of the centre, being issued with kit for the week and settling into their rooms. I will update you all again later and throughout the week to share photographs and what's been happening. Please understand that this will be at different times during the day and might not be until later in the evening as I'm sure you'll appreciate, it's very busy!

    Update: 1pm

We have just left the Bath services having had our lunch and we're back on the coach to continue our journey to Wales. All is well and we're all still full of excitement! I will update again later when we arrive.
