Year 4 Trip to Osmington Bay

Wednesday 7th May 2025 10am
With plenty of excitement, the Year 4 children and members of staff left CSPA this morning at approximately 8:30am ready for their journey to Osmington Bay.
I have just received an update from Mrs Valentine to say all is well, and the coaches have just arrived at Winchester for a comfort stop. Please check back here later for more updates.
Update 12:15pm
The children and staff have arrived at Osmington Bay! The children are excited and looking forward to getting started with their first activities after some lunch!
Update 8pm
Mrs Valentine has shared that the children have had a fun afternoon with activities such as the giant swing, the eco challenge, archery and abseiling. The children have enjoyed their dinner and have had a great evening playing team games. They're just about to enjoy some hot chocolate before going back to their rooms to settle for the night.
Thursday 8th May 2025 10am
All is well in Osmington Bay! The children enjoyed a lovely dinner and slept well. They've not long enjoyed a hearty breakfast ready for a day of activities. I have spoken with Mrs Valentine this morning who told me that the children have been brilliant! Well done Year 4!
Update 4:15pm
The children and staff have had a lovely day in sunny Osmington. The children have been amazing, trying every activity with enthusiasm. They had burger and chips for lunch and are now looking forward to dinner and another evening activity.
Update 7:45pm
The children are currently sat around the campfire in the sunshine singing songs. They are all very happy and have thoroughly enjoyed their second day. They should sleep well tonight!
Friday 9th May 2025 9am
Mrs Valentine has just called with this morning's update. The children have slept well, unsurprisingly, after such a busy day and have just started their final activities before lunch. They are also packed up and ready to leave later today. Mrs Valentine is going to keep me updated during the journey home but please be reminded that currently the estimated arrival time back at CSPA is 5:30pm. Please check back regularly for updates.

The coaches have just left Osmington Bay and have started their journey home. Further updates to follow.

The coaches have just arrived at Winchester for a comfort break.

The current ETA is 5:45pm back at CSPA. This is traffic-dependent and I will continue to keep you updated.
