We are incredibly excited to share with you the wonderful news of our CSPA Christmas Raffle! Over the past few weeks, members of our school community have been working very hard to set up this event to not only raise some much-needed funds for the school but to also bring our school and local community together at Christmas time, this year more than ever!
Our thanks and appreciation go to Adele Kelly (parent at CSPA) for supporting the school so kindly in gathering together a huge array of prizes from local businesses who have so willingly supported the school by making donations. Approximately 40 prizes have been collected and we appreciate their kindness and generosity in bringing together both the school and the local village community - thank you CSP Chamber of Commerce!
Today, 2 books of raffles tickets have been sent home with the children. Please support the school by selling as many as you can. Local businesses in the village will be doing the same! The raffle will be drawn on Friday 11th December with the top 3 prizes being announced in Collective Worship. The remaining tickets will be drawn on the same day. The school office will contact the lucky winners and you will be invited to collect your prize before the end of term.
Your child can return the ticket stubs and the money for the sold raffle tickets in an envelope addressed to the school office as soon as possible but no later than Wednesday 9th December. Cheques should be made payable to Chalfont St Peter C of E Academy PTA. Please also return any unsold tickets.
We hope that our CSPA family will fully support this event to not only benefit the school but bring the whole village community together.
Our school, like any other, relies heavily on the support of a thriving PTA to raise valuable funds in order to provide the range of resources which will help our children continue to excel and reach their full potential.
Funds raised over recent years have been used to buy additional curriculum resources that the school budget simply won't stretch to, including new BenQ screens in all classrooms, ipads and tablets. These resources, in conjunction with excellent teaching, support our children's learning experience, helping to bring the curriculum to life by stretching imaginations and challenging thinking.
The school is ambitious in its drive to excel and we hope you support that vision.
The PTA is a group of like-minded people who simply want to help offer all of our children the opportunity to get a little but more out of life - who wouldn't want that? If you feel the same, please join us in supporting our school.
Look out for the PTA newsletter each term which highlights our fundraising focus and events coming up. We hope you will be keen to get involved and help run, set up or organise an event with a group of like-minded parents.
We look forward to seeing you - please email the PTA if you would like to support or just to find our more: PTA@cspacademy.org.uk
