Last Saturday morning, the Year 6 football team participated in the next round of the Chiltern and South Bucks Primary Schools FA tournament. The following report is written by Thomas, Dexter and Danny:
It was Saturday morning and we were getting ready for our warm-up. For our first match, we were playing against Holmer Green and we won 3-0! Jayden scored a hat-trick! After the first match, we played against a challenging Butler's Court team which ended at 0-0. We then played Farnham Common and Aaron scored a magnificent goal from the halfway line which resulted in a 1-0 victory. We were now through to the semi-finals. The match went to penalties. It was tense! After a few saves and misses, Jake scored to settle the match. Onto the final against Gerrards Cross. We just missed out on winning the whole tournament, but we still ended up as runners-up and qualified for the next round!
