On Thursday 33 Year 6 children took part in the Year 6 Games at Dr Challoners High School. Congratulations to all the children who represented the school and competed with great sportsmanship.
There was a lot of talent on show with the tennis, table tennis, tag rugby and football teams all coming away undefeated and winning their category. The cricketers and hockey players also played extremely well coming 4th and the netball team only lost one of their 6 matches coming 3rd.
Overall the school came second on the day; all the children played fantastically and were a pleasure to watch. A special mention to Shae Thakker for winning the best table tennis player of the day and Tom Hunter for winning the best hockey player of the day.
As well as the football, tag rugby and netball teams for winning the best team spirit certificates.
Well done to all the children for participating.
