Y5 Go Givers Celebration July 2016
Over the last few months, Year 5 have been taking part in an initiative called Go Givers Make A Difference Challenge. This has encouraged children to become aware of local and global charities and causes and to think of a way in which they could 'Make A Difference' to them. All three classes have been involved in the Challenge and have raised money for the three charities Action4Archie, Shelter Box and brainstrust. On Thursday, 34 children from the year group gave a presentation at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury to showcase their charities. It was a fantastic event, the children gave excellent presentations and they represented the Academy admirably.
