n Friday 18th March 2011, 22 girls across all four year groups travelled across to Maltmans Green School to compete in a friendly ‘Spring Daisy’ competition. For many, this was their first opportunity to represent Chalfont St Peter School at gymnastics. Each gymnast performed a set floor routine, a voluntary floor routine and two vaults. Despite the short time we had to prepare, all the girls trained incredibly hard and more experienced gymnasts further up the school confidently and encouragingly taught their own routines to one or two other girls. On the day all gymnasts displayed fantastic talent and determination and performed to the best of their ability with each girl coming away from the competition with a medal.
Well done to all girls involved for representing the school so well and many thanks to all the parents for their consistent support through training and at the competition.
