Having won the qualifying round of the Quadkids Competition in June, our team of Year 5 and 6 athletes competed in the final against all the other regions of Buckinghamshire. The children had to compete in 4 events including a sprint, long distance, throwing and jumping event. They were joined several other schools all trying their very best to be the winning school. After some tough competition, I'm delighted to share with you that CSPA were the overall winners and receive the prestigious title of Buckinghamshire County Athletics Champions! The children were fantastic! They not only competed at a very high level, but they also showed wonderful team spirit, support and encouragement for all. They were a credit to the school! Thank you to the parents for their support and also to Mrs Alburg and Mr Underwood (Jr) who managed the children brilliantly on the day. |
