Chess news

The school chess tournament has now ended after 7 occasionally tense rounds. Our winners, who have all qualified for the Buckinghamshire ‘Megafinal’ stage of this national chess competition, are:

Year 3 – Andrew

Year 4 – Haris with Alexander P qualifying

Year 5 – Edward, Kingsley and Lukas 

Year 6 – Henry N with Carson qualifying.

Henry, Year 6, who won every game played and so gained maximum points, is our school chess champion! Well done to all the players who took part and good luck to all players from the school who will be competing in the Megafinal in May!
